Coro Center for Civic Leadership
33 Terminal Way, Pittsburgh, 15219
Coro’s mission is to advance ethical and effective leaders who share a commitment to civic engagement. We are building a leadership pipeline to foster collaboration within and across Pittsburgh’s business, nonprofit and government sectors.
Coro challenges people to evolve, both personally and professionally, into individuals who have the tools to change their environment for the better. We dont create leaders. We bring out the leader in the person. We equip them with the tools they need to change the world around them.
Coro fosters civic engagement. We facilitate working together across all sectors of the community to take action on complex issues that affect everyone. We envision an inclusive democracy in which people of different backgrounds, views and sectors engage in their communities and work together constructively to improve the quality of life for all.
In our first ten years Coro has engaged over 1000 people in our leadership programs and assisted an additional 4500 people in finding internships in southwestern Pennsylvania.
