The Green Building Alliance (GBA) is a non-profit organization that advances economic prosperity and human well being in Western Pennsylvania by driving market demand for green buildings and green building products across every aspect of the built environment.

Capitalizing on its established network and credibility, GBA leads change in our region by raising public awareness, providing education, acting as a resource center, and continuing its role as a catalyst for environmentally sound building practices, materials and Healthy indoor environments.

GBA will focus its future impact in two priority areas that cross all sectors and are of high importance and relevance to the region:

Expand Western Pennsylvania’s economic base in green-building-related products, technologies and services that increase local jobs, as well as the regions tax base and overall national competitiveness in the emerging green economy.

Grow market awareness, capacity and financial incentives to advance the utilization of green practices in the renovation of existing buildings and redevelopment of sites.
