Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area, which has been established by an act of Congress, conserves, interprets, promotes and develops the industrial and cultural heritage of steel and related industrial resources of southwestern Pennsylvania. The Rivers of Steel National Heritage Area is managed by Steel Industry Heritage Corporation.
