“Transitional Services, Inc. (TSI) originally began as a demonstration project to help people leaving the state hospital to make a smooth transition into the community. TSI was incorporated as a 501 (c)(3) on April 7, 1969. As an organization TSI continues to help individuals with mental disabilities to live in the community.
This past year, the Mission was changed to more adequately reflect the current philosphy. TSI’s current Mission is ‘to help people with mental disabilities discover and achieve their hopes and dreams for a meaningful life in the community.
