The Library will be the center for literacy development and intellectual growth that teaches and encourages its patrons to access, evaluate and use print, electronic, and other informational sources so they can transform information and ideas into usable knowledge.
The Delmont Library will:
- Be innovative and continually changing, adapting to meet community needs,
- Be a safe and secure after-school place for the community’s students by providing materials, spaces, and activities to engage their interest,
- Be a welcoming, inviting community hub, connecting a diverse population of users to their community and each other,
- Be the cultural, intellectual and informational heart of the community through collections, programs, and community involvement,
- Be a staff that provides caring individual assistance to each patron.
