Due to a personal experience with the St. Vincent DePaul Society, I decided to join as a volunteer at our local chapter.  Through this, I have seen firsthand what this organization does for the local communities.  We are able to help people in need with  gift cards for food, clothing ,back to school supplies, utilities and furniture, just to name a few things.   We not only help with the material things needed, but we also provide hope and support to those that need it most.   Joining this  organization has been a rewarding experience and  I am so glad that  I  took that initial step and joined.
