Critical Needs Alert is a fundraising campaign for nonprofit organizations in
Allegheny and Westmoreland counties that provide essential services in the
areas of child care, employment, food security, housing, and physical/mental
health. The Pittsburgh Foundation matches a significant portion of the gifts we receive on those days, but the gifts must be made through this online platform.

This campaign will help various aspects of the Y, but most importantly, it helps the children that I have made a career caring for. Children have always been an important part of my own life: from baby-sitting to caring for others at work and than to becoming a mother. This fundraiser helps those who might need a little extra help providing care for their own children.
