Something that wasn't obvious to me when I started working at the Y was that amount of financial assistance that is given to the community in the North Hills.  With the Baierl Family YMCA being located in the heart of Franklin Park, I didn't often see or think about families with financial struggles around us.  However, my perspective quickly changed when I saw what all the YMCA does to support the community.

In 2023, the Baierl Family YMCA gave out over $90,000 in financial aid to families who couldn't afford a membership, swim lessons for their kids, or summer camp programs.

I have created this page to spread the awareness of that to all of you and any donations I receive will go to create these lifechanging opportunities for families in the community just like you.
