During the past six months the number of people requesting food assistance from WCM has increased by 20%.  Every day the storefront pantry we run serves 85-90 families, and the mobile unit serves 60-65 families at each stop.  

As a board member of the organization, I am concerned with our ability to keep up with the heavy demand.  As you may know, some of the increased government food benefits that were available to families during the pandemic have run out.
