No one should face cancer alone. At Cancer Bridges our mission is to support all those impacted by cancer through a variety of free programs and services. The organization provides a warm and welcoming environment for everyone who has been impacted by cancer. This includes those with a cancer diagnosis and surviving cancer, those who have a loved one with cancer, or have experienced the loss of a loved one due to cancer. The diagnosed, family, friends, and caregivers who support them are welcome to join Cancer Bridges and receive the social, emotional, and informational tools they need at no cost.
We do this through a comprehensive calendar of nearly 200 free programs and services each month, including:
• Short-Term Supportive Counseling
• Education
• Creative Expression
• Health and Wellness
• Social Activities
• Family & Youth
In addition, Cancer Bridges facilitates evidence-based, and cancer specific programs designed to meet the unique needs of our members:
• Living Life Post Cancer Treatment®
• Happy Feet
• Moving through Grief
Just as each individual impacted by cancer is unique, so is their cancer experience and journey. Cancer Bridges provides a multifaceted approach to our service and program offerings. By offering in-person, hybrid, and virtual options, we strive to meet our members where they are and encourage participation in whatever way they feel comfortable.
