We are a certified sober living facility with WestPARR, an affiliate of the National Alliance of Recovery Residences(NARR), and adhere to the NARR standards to ensure the availability of recovery-oriented housing to meet the needs of women in drug and/or alcohol recovery. WestPARR provides referrals to GHM from Allegheny County residential treatment programs and correctional facilities, providing a safe home plan for women who might otherwise be unhoused. The Garden Home model is based on a 3/4 recovery community housing framework. In addition to a safe residence, we provide a physical address for each resident to receive SNAP benefits and to participate with outside service providers for mental health trauma-informed therapy, case management, and service coordination toward the goal of independent living. We offer permanent housing to alleviate time-constrained pressure which allows for focused individual care.
