For 30 years, the food pantry began as an effort to address a growing concern of underserved members of the community. Initially launching with just a few families, that number has swelled to 100 families totaling 255 persons in 2024.
Our food pantry is 100% supported through volunteer services from community members; no one, including board members, is compensated for their efforts.
Food supplies for our pantry are sourced primarily through the Greater Pittsburgh Food Bank, with additional support from the community. Food distribution services to the community occur once on the 3rd Saturday of the month from 7:00 AM - 10:00 AM.
