About this Organization

Glade Run provides mental health, educational, community monitoring and unique therapeutic and autism services to over 5,000 children, adults and families annually through offices located in Pittsburgh (Shadyside), Butler, Beaver Falls, Wexford, West View, Rochester, New Castle and Zelienople, including outpatient mental health offerings. Licensed private schools (St. Stephen's) are located in Zelienople and Utica, PA. Glade Run partners with City of Pittsburgh Public and other public and private schools to provide school based mental health programs and therapeutic classrooms. Transitional programming for teens and young adults with autism is provided at our Zelienople site along with an acute partial hospitalization, a day treatment program, and supportive family housing program. EPIC, our psychiatric rehabilitation program, serves adults with chronic mental illness in Butler and Rochester. Psychiatric mobile medication programming is offered in Butler and Beaver counties. Glade Run Adventures, our unique therapeutic equine, animal, and horticulture program, is located in Zelienople. In Butler, Glade Run also operates a community monitoring program, and After School program, and a Summer Enrichment Program. Also located in Butler is Glade Run's Winter Warming Center, which provides overnight accommodations, shower, laundry, and food for individuals experiencing homelessness during the winter months.
