We build strength, stability, self-reliance, and shelter.
Habitat for Humanity of Greater Pittsburgh is a nonprofit that provides decent, affordable Homeownership and Home Repair Programs for families in Allegheny County earning a low- to moderate income. Our future homebuyers complete 350 hours of sweat equity, volunteering on Habitat Pittsburgh's construction site, and completing our financial literacy courses. Habitat Pittsburgh homes are sold with a 30-year, no-interest mortgage. Our homeowners include single mothers, families with disabled individuals, veterans, senior citizens, refugees, and survivors of domestic abuse.
